About this Event

The New Literacies Collaborative (NLC) and NLC Director Dr. Hiller Spires invite you to attend "Engaging in Global Inquiry: Teachers and Students as Agents of Change" with guest speaker Dr. Yong Zhao. This hour-long webinar is part of Scaling Up Project-Based Inquiry (PBI) Global, an initiative funded by the Longview Foundation, which seeks to expand the impact of PBI Global, a collaborative inquiry process focused on addressing the global challenges enshrined in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through this initiative a team of educators and researchers at NC State University's Friday Institute for Educational Innovation are developing open source curricular materials and implementing professional development in order to support educators and students in becoming local and global agents of change.

Please join our conversation via Zoom on October 29, 2019 at 4:00 PM EDT.

Information for how to connect via Zoom is shared in the registration confirmation.
