Engaging and Supporting Youth Who Have Experienced Commercial Sexual Exploitation

Description

In partnership with Safe & Sound, Huckleberry Youth Programs, and Human Services Agency of San Francisco, this trauma-informed training is designed to help providers to better understand their role when supporting youth experiencing commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC).

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  • Learn about HART services for commercially sexually exploited children and youth
  • Review mandated reporter responsibilities
  • Understand trauma informed ways to engage and support children, youth and their families
  • Understand the stages of change model and how to tailor services based on this model

Who Should Participate?

Anyone who is interested in gaining more knowledge about the CSEC population and how to support CSEC youth through a trauma-informed approach.
