About this event

Did you know that by 2025, Millennials (Gen Y) & Centennials (Gen X) will make up over 75% of the workforce? What does that mean for your workplace?

This session will help you discover more about how to get the best from today’s multigenerational workforce and we'll look at this through a lens of communication, prioritisation and staff morale.

We will look at some of the challenges that intergenerational working can bring and focus on how your team can work more effectively together by understanding generational traits, and the impact of these on team effectiveness.

We’ll offer our ‘Journey Through the Generations’ where you can learn more about why we associate certain traits with each generation. We’ll look at the stereotypes and challenge and debunk some of them, with the aim of helping you understand your colleagues better.

In this session, we will spend some time focussing on the perspectives of Gen Z, and how we can prepare ourselves as better colleagues and managers to work with the youngest demographic in our workforce.

The talk is delivered by Get the Gen - A social enterprise supporting employers across the UK in understanding the value and overcoming the challenges of embracing a cohesive multigenerational workforce.
