Event Details

This event will feature two panels. During the first panel, Arts and Sciences faculty who piloted Philadelphia Seminar courses this semester will discuss successes, challenges and lessons learned.  
Confirmed panelists: Joel Garver, Philosophy and Mey-Yen Moriuchi, Fine Arts
Moderator: Lisa Jarvinen, History 

During the second panel, faculty and community partners will share insights on student engagement with community agencies to further student learning.  Content areas discussed will include human relations with non-human life, business law, and community health promotion. 
Confirmed La Salle panelists: John Downey, Religion; Carolyn Plump, Management and Leadership; and Mary Wilby, Nursing

Confirmed Community partner panelists: Patricia Hamil, Philadelphia Bar Association; and Marcella Slick, Medical Advocacy Supervisor, Lutheran Settlement House
