About this event
Engage, Inspire, and Empower the Next Generation Through STEM workshop will introduce grades 4-6 students to how engineers help make the world a better place. Participants will be introduced to STEM careers, using 21st-century skills in their daily lives, engineering design process, reverse engineering, tinkering and deconstructing household gadgets. Participants will work in pairs to analyze, tinker, and deconstruct a household gadget.
Pre-registration is required, class is limited to 40.
A free light breakfast will be provided.
Participants will receive a pair of goggles, journal, and an all in one screwdriver tool to bring home.
