Inspiring... Enlightening... Educational...
These words describe presentations given by our keynote speaker and Engage in Life honoree, Ms. Lisa Fujimoto, Executive Vice President of the Change a Life Foundation. Her career has included serving at the Orange County Rescue Mission as Senior Vice President of Advancement and Operations and as Manager of Community Relations for the Disneyland Resort.
Across California, the Change a Life Foundation helps people by providing support for critically needed direct services that promote their self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life. They literally change lives every day.
The Council on Aging partners with the Change a Life Foundation to help seniors maintain their independence by ensuring they receive the medical attention they need and deserve. Through this long standing partnership, we have been able to change the lives of many Orange County seniors.
Our luncheon program also includes the stories of seniors we serve who exemplify the Engage in Life philosophy. In sharing their personal stories, Ms. Fujimoto and our seniors will inspire you with the the challenges and rewards of becoming “Better with Age.”
