Professor Lincoln Davies, University of Utah

The AIE is pleased to welcome Professor Lincoln Davies, Presidential Endowed Chair in Law, College of Law, University of Utah. Professor Davies is an expert in US energy law and will provide a detailed consideration of the current state of energy policy law in the United States as well as potential changes under the Trump Administration, including:

  • Overview of US energy policy and regulation
  • Use of state renewable portfolio standards to promote renewable energy
  • Assessment of the impact of the Trump Administration on US energy markets

Western Australian energy policy and law update

Mathew Bowen, Jackson McDonald

Matthew Bowen, Partner at Jackson McDonald, will also provide an update on Western Australian issues.
