Reduce building operating expenses and solve energy problems with this 1-day intensive training sponsored by NHSaves, in four locations around New Hampshire- Keene, Portsmouth, Manchester and Plymouth.
Each location has the same 8:00 am - 4:00 program:
• Benchmarking, demand reduction and retrocommissioning
• LED lighting
• Air sealing, insulation and IAQ
• NHSaves commercial, industrial and municipal incentives
• Cold climate heat pumps
• Efficient motors and compressed air
For facility managers, COOs, sustainability officers, energy budget managers and other representatives of New Hampshire businesses and organizations with commercial energy bills.
Taught by Andy Duncan, PhD, who has over 15 years teaching and implementing energy efficiency in NH, including BOC, CEM and BPI programs. Sponsored by the NHSaves consortium of utilities: Eversource, Liberty Utilities, NH Electric Cooperative and Unitil.
Tickets are required with a nominal $20 co-pay for this $160 program. The co-pay increases to $40 within 5 days of the training. Includes continental breakfast, lunch and course materials.
FAQs
How do I get to the training, and what are my parking options for the event?
Directions to the venue and a Keene State College parking pass will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the training.
Do I need to bring a ticket with me, and what is provided as part of this training?
As long as you have received confirmation and directions, you do not need to bring a ticket with you. Continental breakfast will be provided, along with a buffet lunch and beverages. A training workbook will also be provided, which includes training slides, NHSaves information, reference materials and fill-in activities.
Are continuing education CEUs or PDHs being provided upon training completion?
For those who complete the 1-day training, a LRCC certificate of attendance can be provided. The certificate will show that participants earned 7 professional development hours (PDHs). This certificate can be used to apply for CEUs or PDHs for the organization you are affiliated with. The day-long program is 8 hours; subtracting two meal periods equals 7 contact hours.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable, and what's the refund policy?
The registration fee is transferable to another qualified participant in the same organization. Please let us know if transferring a ticket. Refunds are allowed no more than 7 days prior to the training. We need to provide a final count for food and beverage service at this time. If inclement weather is forecasted, we will be in touch via email about the status of the training. In severe weather situations, the training may be postponed to a later date, and refunds are allowed if the rescheduled date doesn't fit your schedule.
