Course Description: This one-day workshop will review the principles of operation for chilled water-based air conditioning systems, an overview of key aspects of energy standards such as ASHRAE 90.1, introduce technologies that can enable increased energy efficiency of air conditioning systems, and discuss specific approaches to achieve greater energy performance for air conditioning systems.
Learning Objectives: The attendees participating in this course will:
* Review chilled water systems and equipment.
* Receive an overview of current energy standards for mechanical systems in commercial buildings.
* Understand a range of equipment and technologies that can improve the efficiency of building chilled
water-base air conditioning systems.
