 This data jam will bring together developers, educators, organizations, and energy experts to collaborate toward the goal of improving energy literacy in the U.S.

U.S. Department of Energy, Housing and Urban Development and Department of Education

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) have made significant investments in infrastructure upgrades with a primary emphasis on residential buildings’ energy performance. HUD and DOE are developing an innovative place-based initiative, together with the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education to create economic opportunity and energy-literate communities for public housing residents around the country.
