In 2012, leaders around the world began calling for a Green Industrial Revolution. This new revolution will focus on changing carbon-intensive industrial policies and create and promote prospects for new green investments that would in turn create more jobs in a wide cross-section of industries.
Energy in 2020: Opportunities in the Green Industrial Revolution will be a panel speaker event that looks at how businesses can improve their practices to support a green economy, and how today's students can prepare for a career in a green future.
Panelists will explore how a green industrial revolution will contribute to economic, environmental and social sustainability in 2020. This event is a collaboration between SDG&E, UC San Diego's Jacobs School of Engineering, and the US Green Chamber of Commerce.
Open to businesses, community members, and students.
