Event description

Description

Symposium ProgrammeNottingham is currently the UK’s most energy self-sufficient city and hosts a number of projects innovating in local energy and sustainability initiatives. With the Cities two Universities, Nottingham is at the forefront of energy research and innovation and currently partners on three large community energy demonstrator projects: The Innovate UK funded project SCENe and the EU funded projects SENSIBLE and REMOURBAN. This free, by invite only, one-day symposium is aimed at policy makers, planners, developers and energy sector professions. The three community energy demonstrator projects will be presented by the project teams within sessions on three key themes – technical systems integration, business models and community engagement. The symposium includes an exhibition and the opportunity of a site visit to the Innovate UK funded Project SCENe at Trent Basin

Refreshments and lunch will be provided, along with a drinks reception at the end of the day.
