Event description

Description

Contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama is known for her colorful art, often covered in thousands of dots repeating endlessly. On this visit to the ICA, we will view Kusama’s installation and step into a psychedelic world of color, light, and lots of dots. We will learn about this installation, Kusama’s contemporaries who also employed repetition in their work, and their influences on one another. Don’t miss a chance to experience this special installation with us!

The tour is about 45 minutes, geared towards adults, and welcomes hungry babies, crying babies, sleeping babies, and parents on maternity/ paternity leave, stay-at-home moms and dads, and any other caretakers.

After the tour, there will be an optional/ informal gathering at a nearby cafe to discuss art, babies, and everything in between.

Advance registration is highly recommended as most museums have a strict tour capacity limit and priority will be given to those who registered in advance. If you are unable to attend after purchasing the ticket, just let us know and we will issue you a credit for another tour (we understand things never go exactly as planned when babies are involved!).

Museum admission is included in this ticket.
