Will Macguire

This week's drop-in class will focus on getting to know your character. In improv, we have the unique opportunity to inhabit a limitless amount of characters. We get to meet them, discover them, get to know them, and walk a mile (or two) in their shoes. This workshop will focus on some basic tools used to create character and then branch out, allowing those characters to breath, live, and interact with one another. Wear some comfy clothes, and come prepared to have some fun trying on somebody else's!

Will Maguire is a member of Endgames Improv's House Harold team, Calhoun and performs regularly at Endgames' Harold Night. He is also a member of independent long-form improv team, Charmers Market. He performs regularly and produces SF Barprov at Pianofight, a monthly showcase for up and coming Bay Area improv and standup comedy. He also co-hosts the improv comedy podcast, Comedy SoundWave. He has taken all of the Endgames Improv classes and is a former member of Leela-SF Improv's House Team, Keyser Sparatacus. He has also performed at IO West's Improv Jam and at the California Improv Fest. He holds a B.A. in television and film studies from the University of Wisconsin and a J.D. from Hamline University.

Tickets are non-refundable.

Endgames Improv

Endgames improv is about comedy, community, and putting live performances in front of San Francisco. We believe a few things. First, everyone deserves good comedy. Shows shouldn't cost twenty dollars, which is why all our shows cost ten dollars or less. Most of them are five. A lot of them are FREE. Second, we believe in our community of students, performers, and teachers. This is our community, and it can be YOUR community, too. Come be a part of what we do.
