The Book of Revelation reveals God’s Ultimate Plan to save humanity. We will examine how The Books of Daniel and Revelation describe things pertaining to the “Catching Up” (“Rapture”) of The Church, the “Tribulation Period,” the “Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ,” the “New Heaven” and the “New Earth,” and the kingdoms of the world and their relationship to God’s Plan. We will analyze and interpret the prophecies contained in The Bible concerning End-Time Events, revealing the Awesome Power of God to control all of history, as well as the meaning of “Daniel’s Seventieth Week Prophecy”. As one of the Jewish people exiled in Babylonia, Daniel was a prophet at the Babylonian court under Nebuchadnezzar (who died in 562 B.C.), Belshazzar (who died in 539 B.C.), and at the Median and Persian courts in Babylon under “Darius the Mede” and Cyrus (who died in 529 B.C.). The name Daniel means, “God has judged”. The Book of Daniel is a collection of Papers written at several times. The last six chapters contain Prophecies written by Daniel himself. The first six chapters are a collection of historical Papers written by other authors. In the stories about him, written in the third person, Daniel, like the Biblical Joseph, is minister to pagan kings, and interpreter of signs given to them. In the second part, written in the first person, Daniel, like Biblical prophets, records signs seen by himself and he is unable to understand their meaning. Now he will need an angelic interpreter! These signs lead us to The Revelation of End-Time Events! We will survey the entire Book of Daniel and The Book of Revelation in this study.
