End-of-Year Party with Autodidactic I: A Co. with No Customers or Employees
The single greatest achievement of the Autodidactic I project is not in creating the world's first fully autonomous trading firm via Tech Trader. It's much more subtle than that. Autodidactic I has become the world's first fully self-sustaining company with no customers, products, or employees.
Think about that for a moment. This is a company that will grow and generate profit year after year completely on its own with no work done anywhere by any human being. It is completely independent to the rest of the world. It doesn't need to sell anything to anyone. It doesn't need anyone to work in the company to keep it going. It neither takes from nor gives to society. It simply exists, its members benefiting from a perpetual revenue stream that requires absolutely no human input. It is an Island, an off-the-grid company, dependent on nothing and beholden to no one, a company built to do anything by people who do everything.
More importantly, it's already here. It's real. And we're about to show the world what we can do. Phase II has begun. The first of the Autodidactic Islands is here.
Come celebrate the end of an amazing first year with us on Dec.10, 7pm at Galvanize in San Francisco. A talk and Q/A will be held with the founders who'll share the experiences and interesting stories of the first year, what it's like to operate in a company where all the work is fully automated by an AI, as well as plans going forward beyond finance into general AI, VR, games, music, and other exciting endeavors.
There will be desserts, music, and games - including a poker set, a 10-player bomberman on the big screen, and piano keyboards for musicians and artists to jam on. But no alcohol.
We've also invited various guest artists to perform and speakers to speak:
- Stefen Choy will be sharing various crazy and hilarious stories on Silicon Valley as a newcomer having discovered it last year, despite living in it for 20 years without knowing it. He is also the founder of LiveVol (sold to CBOE last year) and a self-made trader with 20 years experience in the broader financial industry.
- Azuria Sky will be performing various game and chiptune tracks she is known for on Soundcloud using live keyboard, violin, and a Nintendo Gameboy. She is a multimedia producer and creative coder that likes to take apart video-game consoles and make them sing. Her art is often a experiment with the equilibrium between math and emotion.
Autodidactic I is also now looking for new team members to join and take it to the next level. The company is not looking for employees who want specific roles/jobs but instead looking for others to join them on their adventures as partners with similar passion and capacity to do everything from art to technology.
