RUNNING ON EMPTY Jonathan (Rock Doc) Schneider dreamed up the concept for a Jackson Browne tribute band in the summer of 2015. As singers and musicians were added the repertoire was expanded to include songs made popular by Bonnie Raitt and Linda Ronstadt and the Eagles: The Laurel Canyon sound. We take an ensemble approach to the material where the singers share the lead vocals.
JONNY ROSCH AND FRIENDS Jonny Rosch has been performing and leading bands as a vocalist, keyboard and harmonica player for more than 30 years. He was music director for Phoebe Snow, music and creative director for James Dolan and has sung on countless jingles and recordings. For a number of years he was lead vocalist and harmonica player for The Original Blues Brothers Band featuring Steve “The Colonel” Cropper and “Blue” Lou Marini. In New York, “Jonny Rosch and Friends” features many of the “first call” studio and touring musicians who look forward to playing with Jonny because of his skills as a musician, leader and entertainer. What makes Jonny’s shows so unique is his spontaneity and the joy he brings to his fellow musicians and the audience.
