This event will first start with a panel on a whole community approach for looking at anti-human trafficking efforts that are currently taking place in regards labor trafficking. The panel will be moderated by Joanna Gutierrez Winters, Chair/President of the FREE Network, where we will have a series of six speakers from the field including:

  • Jacquelyn Bradford, Gulf Coast Legal

  • Gayane Galoyan, Lutheran Services Florida

  • Marley Moynahan, Coalition of Immokalee Workers

  • Nely Rodriguez, Coalition of Immokalee Workers

  • Miguel Rios, US Department of Labor

Following our panel discussion, we will have three facilitated breakout sessions where community leaders, professionals, survivors, academics, and students can come together to stategize on action steps to identify prevention and intervention strategies that encourage innovation and collaboration to protect some of our most vulnerable populations.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. Parking permits will be given upon arrival and instructions as we get closer to the day of the event.
