Enabling Knowledge for Innovation on Thursday, 20 October 2016 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm
Adelaide KM and the University of Adelaide's Executive Education present an open forum on the role of Knowledge for Innovation.
Knowledge is essential to innovation. Knowledge provides the context in which innovation is sparked, evolves and is actioned. This transfer of new knowledge, possibly arising from the intersection of different contexts, needs to be actively enabled not only to reduce risk but also to maximise successful outcomes.
Simultaneously an organisation needs to be aware of:
- what knowledge it already has;
- how the organisation can facilitate the creation of knowledge to enable innovation; and
- how the transfer of knowledge around the organisational ecosystem can enhance innovation.
This interactive forum will be facilitated by industry experts taking a variety of themes. There will be many opportunities for direct conversations based around 3 sessions:
Session A: Concepts at the Intersection of Knowledge and Innovation (an overview)
Session B: The Same but Different: Innovators Manage Knowledge? (a Knowledge Café)
Session C: Discussion on the Intersection of Knowledge and Innovation
Executive Education looks forward to you joining us for this event.
