Event description

Description

The Hon. Robert Wilkins is a United States Circuit Judge of the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, and will come to Richmond Law as our 2017 Emanuel Emroch Speaker. Judge Wilkins is the author of Long Road to Hard Truth: The 100 Year Mission to Create the National Museum of African American History and Culture. His book tells the story of how his curiosity about why there wasn't a national museum dedicated to African American history and culture became an obsession, and how he helped make the museum a reality.

Lunch will be served. There is no cost to attend.

Judge Wilkins will also facilitate an informal discussion on Resilience of Lawyers and the Law in the Carle E. Davis Room (Commons) at 11 a.m. No registration for this event is required. All are welcome.
