Los participantes podrán entender claramente cómo formalizar la gobernanza, profesionalizar la operación, elevar la ejecución y atender la sucesión de las empresas de familia, no importa su tamaño ni su estado de madurez. Este seminario es de beneficio para dueños y familiares (futuros herederos), directores de junta, y altos ejecutivos de empresas de familia.

Los temas a discutirse son:

  • Gobernanza, roles y responsabilidades de la Junta de Directores y de los Ejecutivos de la Empresa de Familia.

  • Entendiendo las diferencias entre accionista, un familiar como ejecutivo/profesional y el posible heredero.

  • Altos Ejecutivos no consanguineos: retos y beneficios.

  • Liderando su compañía para el crecimiento: si estuviera a la venta, ¿alguién la compraría mañana? Diagnóstico Situacional; Diferenciación Estratégica; Cultura Adecuada; Formalización Operacional; Resultados Tangibles y Predecibles.

  • Manejando conflictos familiares: criterios y posibles soluciones.

El taller se llevará a cabo el 29 de junio de 2017, de 9AM a 4:30 PM, en Terra Convention Center, Guaynabo, PR. Inversión incluye desayuno, almuerzo, merienda y estacionamiento.

Eduardo M. Arroyo posee un bachillerato en Ingeniería Gerencial, subespecializado en Psicología Industrial, más una Maestría en Administración Comercial; todos, ingeniería, sub especialización y maestría, logrados durante solo 4 años calendario en Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute en Troy, New York.

Al cumplir 25 años, fue nombrado Presidente y Gerente General de Microdata, Puerto Rico, Inc., dónde dirigió la producción de las primeras computadoras manufacturadas totalmente en Puerto Rico.  Luego ejerció como Vicepresidente y Gerente General de Emulex Caribe por diez años.

En 1992, establece Arroyo & Associates, grupo de Consultoría Gerencial especializada en los temas de LIDERAZGO, ESTRATEGIA y EJECUCION. Ha impactado directamente a sobre 150 organizaciones con beneficios de impacto contabilizados en varios cientos de millones de dólares. 

En septiembre de 2010, presentó su cuarto libro: “The Good, The Bad and the Troubled: A Leadership Guide for Effective and Painless Performance Management”, que revoluciona y humaniza la forma de liderar el desempeño.

Actualmente es miembro de varias Juntas Directivas y es coach de exitosos ejecutivos y sucesores, además de ofrecer consultoría gerencial en un sinnúmero de escenarios competitivos.

Mrs. Neysha Natal-Castro has a B.A. from the University of Puerto Rico in Political Sciences and an academic minor in Psychology, graduating in 2001 with a magna cum laude recognition. In 2005, she graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law with honors. She was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in 2006. Mrs. Natal is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree (M.S.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Carlos Albizu University.

Mrs. Natal worked for the past eleven (11) years in Pellot González, P.S.C. She handled corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance and counseling, mergers and acquisitions and provided tax counseling on industrial and tourism tax incentive grants for the clients of the firm. She also handled private letter rulings for the firm’s clients at the Puerto Rico Treasury Department as well as representing them in the negotiation of closing agreements with several governmental agencies. Mrs. Natal also provided employment and labor law counseling to the firm’s clients on state and federal law. She also has extensive experience in sales and use tax issues, administrative proceedings and notary law. In addition, she has been active in providing advice on inheritance, trusts and estate planning. Mrs. Natal is a member of the Puerto Rico and American Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Washington Center and the National Hispanic Environmental Council.

On October 2016, Mrs. Natal opened her own private practice and focuses her attention on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions. These include reorganization of existing businesses by way of mergers, acquisitions, corporate divisions and others. She also handles general corporate matters, corporate governance and counseling and a wide array of business and commercial consultations. Her knowledge and experience in taxation, contracts, labor and corporate law allows her to provide complete and sound advice to the client’s businesses. In terms of labor and employment law, her counseling practice cover matters such as business labor planning and organization; drafting of personnel policies; drafting of employment contracts and non-competition agreements; worker’s compensation and other employment law matters. Lastly, her practice also extends to counseling on employee welfare and benefits, identification of labor and employment liabilities and employer’s obligations in the context of mergers and acquisitions or other corporate divisions.
