Empowerment through Movement #3: Sharing the Message
Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM (EDT)
Empowerment Through Movement Adult Workshop Series
This series of workshops will be led by The Creative Movement Company to use the art of movement to provide a creative and self-expressive outlet for survivors of abuse. The Creative Movement Company has partnered with Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and the Emily List Fund to be able to provide this program to survivors in the Tampa Bay community free of charge. These workshops encourage participants to move freely through improvisation and creative movement methods, uniting mind and body in a positive and lighthearted manner. This program does not require any dance training or experience; it is designed for those willing to explore movement and other art forms in a safe and supportive environment. Participants should come dressed in clothes they can comfortably move in.
