About this event
Join AMAC for our 7th annual women's conference, for sisters 12 and older, Empowering Women: Speaking Our Truth on November 19th and 20th for a weekend of sisterhood, spiritual awakening, and amplifying our truth. We will have special guest speakers including Dr. Jamillah Karim, award winning author, speaker and blogger, and Noor Kids Director of Education, Sana Aesar. We will have sessions and workshops on mental health, storytelling, advocacy, building community, Islam and feminism, Muslim women in history, and a separate youth track.
