Event description

Description

Please join California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. (CRLA) and the Monterey County Health Department to learn about and discuss how medical and legal services providers can work together to improve community health.

The Monterey County Medical-Legal Partnership, an initiative of CRLA and the Health Department, addresses social determinants of health--like pesticide exposure, substandard housing, and dangerous labor practices--to improve health outcomes for County clinic patients.

With help from the National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership and Farmworker Justice, the Monterey Country Medical-Legal Partnership is convening a wide range of stakeholders including legal and healthcare professionals, elected officials, community organizations, and foundations, for a day of learning and discussion about social determinants of health, with a special focus on pregnancy and pesticide exposure.

We invite you to participate in this one-day summit as we work together to improve health outcomes in Monterey County and beyond.

Registration options: Please indicate in your choice of ticket options whether you would like lunch, and if you plan to attend the reception which will begin at 4pm in the same room as the event.

Please contact Aaron Voit (avoit@crla.org) with any questions, or inquiries regarding registration for those that did not receive an invitation.
