Empowered To Connect Simulcast Boise 2017
Fri, Apr 7, 2017, 9:45 AM – Sat, Apr 8, 2017, 6:00 PM MDT
The Pursuit is hosting The Empowered To Connect Simulcast presented by Show Hope and the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development. This conference is ideal for families and professionals who serve children who have experienced early childhood trauma, particularly those adopted or fostered. This conference will feature Trust-Based Relational Intervention® methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the TCU Institute of Child Development to help bring attachment and connection in families. Speakers will also help parents and caregivers understand how their child’s and their own personal history impacts healing and connection. Participants will walk away with a better understanding of how to connect with children from hard places in order to help them heal and become all that God desires for them to be.
