Introduction to the event, click here.
Featuring Trust-Based Relational Intervention® methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the TCU Institute of Child Development to help bring attachment and connection in families.
The Pursuit is hosting The Empowered To Connect LIVE Simulcast presented by Show Hope and Empowered to Connect. This conference is ideal for parents and professionals who serve children who have experienced early childhood trauma, particularly those adopted or fostered. Recent research on the interplay of trauma and attachment theory, neurochemistry of fear, and sensory processing will be presented. Speakers will also help parents and caregivers understand how their child’s and their own personal history impacts healing and connection. Participants will walk away with a better understanding of how to connect with children from hard places in order to help them heal and become all that God desires for them to be.
