Event description
What role can A.I. play in urban planning? Join the conversation and share your perspectives on how AI might shape the future of our cities.

About this event

Artificial Intelligence and machine learning technologies are paving the way for our future cities. A.I. can perform some tasks better than humans, like going through large sets of data and completing complex statistical equations, to address everyday issues like traffic, accessible public transportation, and water conservation. As the climate crisis continues, cities need to find more feasible solutions to become more sustainable, but can A.I. help us accomplish that? Join us for a facilitated conversation to share your values and concerns as we humans learn to navigate a world intertwined with A.I..

This will be a free, all-day, in-person forum. Lunch will be provided. Masks are encouraged but optional. Parking at the Museum garage will be validated at the event. You do not need any background knowledge of A.I. to participate.

Support for this EmPowered by A.I. event is provided by the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation, Toyota Research Institute, BNY Mellon, and The Boston Foundation.
