Think about the classes that have transformed or shaped your love of yoga. Chances are, the teachers that most impacted you brought to life a new element of the yoga practice for you, either through creative and intentional sequencing, or through an assist that broke open a posture for you in a new way.
Creating sequences is a discipline that immerses you in your learning as both a teacher and a student of yoga. And hands-on yoga assists can be an extremely powerful tool to help your students expand in their yoga practices, and to help you as a teacher to understand the mechanics of the postures on a cellular level. Woven together with loving attentiveness, these two elements--sequencing and assisting-- create the atmosphere for your students to transform in their yoga practices in a meaningful way.
As yoga teachers, it’s our calling to continue our own learning and our own paths as students of yoga so that we can light the way for our students to follow. Andrea and Megan are excited to hold a space and create a framework for our community of yoga teachers to continue our learning and growing together. This 2-day workshop has two elements: Succulent Sequencing and The Yoga of Assisting (details below).
- 1/14 & 1/15, 8-11am: Succulent Sequencing at Liquid Hero Brewery (50 E. North Street York, PA).
- 1/14 & 1/15, 11-1pm: Break for Lunch
