East Los Angeles Women’s Center is proud to present our 2023 Youth Empowerment Summit - an event that is led and organized by youth for youth between the ages of 14-18.
ELAWC’s Youth Empowerment Program participants have been enthusiastically working on creating a summit that is engaging, educational, positive and empowering. Each workshop will focus on: selfcare, building healthy relationships, become allies for the LGBTQ+ community and violence prevention. All with the goal of providing resources for youth and uplifting participants to become change agents and future leaders of their communities.
