EMERGE LAW GROUP wants to send you to Cannabis Employer's School on September 28, 2016, at McMenamins Kennedy School in Portland! Oregon's developing cannabis industry faces strict compliance rules on every front and employment is no exception. Oregon is one of the most employee-friendly states in the country, full of very costly minefields for employers who don't follow the rules.
This FREE Employment Law Compliance Class will guide you through the fundamentals that every cannabis industry employer needs to know and follow from hiring to firing. You will learn about employees versus independent contractors, exempt and nonexempt employees, wage and hour laws, FEINs and BINs, workers' compensation, the marijuana worker's permit, must-have employment policies and much, much more. There will also be plenty of time for our experienced lawyers to answer your questions.
This FREE class includes lunch, when you'll hear an update on recent legal developments in Oregon's cannabis industry. Seats are limited, so please register today to reserve your spot in the class.
