Description

BY INVITATION ONLY (please contact us if you are interested in attending and haven't received an email from us)

Each year businesses across the UK invest significant time and money in supporting schools to improve outcomes for pupils.

But which approaches have the best chance of success? And how can businesses ensure programmatic interventions are having the biggest impact on young people?

Earlier this year, the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) published a review of international evidence on employer engagement to help answer exactly these questions.

Join us for a breakfast, hosted by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, to hear from the report’s author, alongside delivery organisations and schools that are putting evidence at the heart of their approach to tackling educational disadvantage.

Speakers include:

Welcome by: Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and Anthony Harte (Bank of America Merrill Lynch)

Nick Bowen - Executive Principal, Horizon Community College, Barnsley

Jennie Butterworth - Chief Executive, Envision

Thomas Graham - Chief Investment and Strategy Officer, Careers & Enterprise Company

Elnaz Kashef - Head of Research, Education and Employers

Timings:

Breakfast available: 8.15 am.

Meeting starts 8.45 am, concludes 9.45 am.
