Employ Prince George's 5th Anniversary Gala - She Has Experience

Join Employ Prince George’s on June 24, 2023, as we celebrate our milestone 5-year anniversary with our 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY GALA. The theme of this year’s gala is She Has Experience (S.H.E.), celebrating and highlighting women in business, entrepreneurship, and the workforce! Women have helped Employ Prince George’s grow from a small local nonprofit organization to a national leader in the Workforce Development Industry, with more than 80 staff who assist thousands of job seekers and businesses. As such, we thought it only right that we celebrate the many contributions of women and their impact on the Prince George’s County economy.

Employ Prince George’s 5 Year Anniversary Gala: She Has Experience will be an immersive experience designed to celebrate Employ Prince George’s, celebrate the women leading our economy, while fostering and empowering women who are entrepreneurs, business leaders, and those who are leading in the workplace. Employ Prince George’s is always more action than words, and in that spirit proceeds from the Gala will assist Employ Prince George’s in launching a partnership with Milestones Elevation Community Development to help women in Prince George’s County achieve economic success. This partnership will increase outreach and engagement with women, especially single mothers, with a goal to connect them to workforce development programming, wrap-around supportive services, skills training and upgrading, paid adult work experiences, and job placement into livable wage careers throughout Prince George’s County.

Panel discussion topics, led by women leaders, will include: leadership, marketing, finance, and innovation. The Gala will also feature several speakers you don’t want to miss.
