Event description

The InfraGard Electromagnetic Pulse Special Interest Group (EMP SIG™) is holding a two day event with the first an “invitation only” Workshop and the Dupont Summit, which is open to the public. Workshop attendees are welcome to register for the Dupont Summit also (see below for the link).

Please Attend Workshop & Version 2.0 Update

“Powering Through: From Fragile Infrastructure to Community Resilience”

WHY: It is vital that the nation is prepared for a long-term, wide spread critical infrastructure outage.

WHAT: Your help is needed! Volume 1.0 of the EMP SIG™ “Powering Through” action guide is published and we are working on Version 2.0 with ten critical infrastructure teams and the National Guard . The team leaders will report their activities, and then we would appreciate your reactions, thoughts and suggestions.

We plan on hearing from Amb. Hank Cooper on the work he has been doing on Lake Wyle. In addition, North Carolina did an EMP exercise this year and we will learn about their insights. Also, there will be an opportunity for the Regional EMP SIGs to meet each other during the Workshop.
