With one in ten children suffering from a mental health problem in 2008 and a suspected one in six suffering in 2016, it is the responsibility of all adults working with children to not only have an understanding of the key challenges and potential pot holes that they face but to also have the skills and confidence to address these.
75% of mental health problems in adulthood are developed by the age of 18 years - it is time to act.
Freckles has worked closely with our very own Educational Psychologist to develop a days training on Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health. The training is specially designed for nannies, teachers and parents and to equip them with the skills and tools necessary to help develop and grow emotionally stable children.
A days training is intense but rewarding and involves the following topics:
- Mental health introduction
- Resilience and Wellbeing
- Confidence and Self Esteem
We have built the training to enable it to be tailored to those attending and so we can tackle any issues that attendees might currently be facing.
If you would like to attend please don't hesitate to book your ticket as spaces will fill quickly and they are limited.
Parking - there is ample free parking available around the village hall
Tea/coffee/water and snacks are provided throughout
A light lunch is provided.
