About this event
Recent and historic racial injustices in our country can weigh heavily on our minds, bodies, and spirits. Join us for an evening of conversation, education, and healing techniques focused on how the mind-body connection is impacted in the face of these atrocities. We will explore grounding techniques, guided meditations, and sound healing in a virtual format. This online event will be facilitated by:
Kelvin Young, Sound Healer
Erica Wilcox, Licensed Professional Counselor
Diana Fuller, Psychologist, Coach, & Host of Watered Grass
Proceeds benefit the Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective (BEAM). As stated on their website, “BEAM is a training, movement building and grant making organization dedicated to the healing, wellness and liberation of Black and marginalized communities. “ Please visit their site here for further information about this organization.
Please note that while therapeutic techniques will be shared, this group should not be viewed as a replacement for work with a licensed therapist. A list of resources will be made available to attendees should this be a level of support they look to explore.
