Event description
EFT is a technique focused on clearing the energy channels of the meridian system. Workshop will explore EFT skills and who to use EFT with.

About this Event

EFT uses an approach that is based on ancient Chinese healing philosophy that is over 5000 years old. It focuses on the meridian system- a set of channels that conduct energy through the body -the same system used by acupuncturists. Clearing these energy channels (removing the emotional block) often brings relief and /or resolution much faster than traditional therapy methods alone. It combines the physical benefits of acupuncture with the cognitive benefits of conventional therapy for a more complete treatment of emotional and physical issues.

EFT or Meridian Tapping Is a cognitive, somatic, energy modality that works to rewire the brain to balance the mind and the body. Emotions and beliefs are shifted using EFT. When this happens, different chemicals are released in the body that enable shifts in the nervous system, endocrine system, hormones, energy levels and more! EFT has a wide range of applications. To name a few: addictions, traumatic events, pain, phobias, grief, relationship issues, abuse, etc.

In addition, there is a lot of “hard science” behind why EFT works. Use the following resources to review the research:

EFT UNIVERSE: http://www.eftuniverse.com/research-studies/eft-research

Objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  • Identify what EFT is and how EFT works
  • Identify what trauma is and the importance of treating trauma
  • Utilize the ACE’s study and understand its importance
  • Identify populations and issues best served using EFT
  • Observe and gain understanding of EFT skills through group demonstrations
