Emotional Components of Living with MS
Fri, June 30, 2017, 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM CDT
MS can take an emotional toll on patients and their loved ones. Experiencing anxiety, distress, anger, frustration, and even depression is common. In this session, Janice Cain, PHD - Psychiatry, will discuss the emotional side of MS - how to manage and overcome the emotional challenges so you can learn to live and embrace the present.
This free session is part of a quarterly learning and sharing forum designed to help people living with MS in the community connect with each other and with health care professionals. It allows MS patients and their caregivers to stay up-to-date on how to manage MS-related symptoms. It is sponsored by SSM Health's Neurosciences Department.
