If you can spare a few more minutes, please read detailed information as follows;

The event will be held in the courtyard of the venue, but guests are also welcome to socialise in the open garden.

Due to the generosity of the venue's management, we have no costs to cover, and are thefore able to host this party in aid of a small charity; St Anne's Hoxton. Instead of bringing gifts to the birthday boy, guests are kindly requested to make a donation to the charity by Clicking Here.

Guests who wish to donate in cash are kindly requested to hand their donation over to the Host (Emmanuel Ray) or the Vicar of the church, Rev. Christopher Woods, who will be present at the event.

Contrary to popular belief, not all churches have plenty of money! The Church of England provides limited funding to most churches in Britain and only a handful of Churches in the country have large funds and not surprisingly, in more affluent areas.

St Anne's Hoxton is listed as one of the poorest parishes in the country. They have funding to cover their bills and upkeep of a Grade II listed building. They rely on donations for their charitable projects. Thanks to the generosity of the venue (Enoteca Da Luca), we don't have to pay venue hire, a deposit or even commit to a minimum spend. They are even doing canapés free-of-charge, so we are pleased that all donations will go directly to the Church's charity.

The Enoteca Da Luca brand has five restaurants in London, each with a different take on the Italian "Enoteca," meaning local wine shop. In Italy, Enoteca’s are a local hub, serving up the best ingredients and wines from the region.

Like the traditional Enotecas, the venue likes to keep it simple, focusing their menu around the finest ingredients from Italy. Their menu is inspired by seasonal produce and the most delicious meats, cheeses and Italian specialities.'Piccolo e bello' is their philosophy; small menu; small plates to share; and the small details. Unlike their menu, their wine list is extensive! You’ll find wines for every occasion and mood from the smallest to the largest Italian producers, as well as the some their favourites from the rest of the world.

As well as providing a space for prayer, worship, reflection and pastoral support, St Anne’s Hoxton runs a busy community outreach for the local community in Hoxton. They run a weekly soup kitchen for homeless people and a few vulnerable people in the area, a winter night shelter for the coldest months during which the homeless can seek shelter, as well as a twice-weekly drop in café and a weekly youth club. They are a community which helps each other: local people volunteer and local people that are most-in-need receive their help. However, without a sustained level of donation, they could not keep this valuable work going.

"I look forward to welcoming you at the party, and thank you in advance for your support.

Please feel free to share this event with anyone you think that would like to attend."
