Event description

Description

Technology-based solutions for emergency planning, training and assessments are rapidly being adopted across a broad range of agencies and departments. If you're interested in learning about the benefits and the possibilities, join us on Thursday, November 9, for the Emerging Technologies Symposium for Emergency Solutions. Register now, there's still time to reserve a seat!

This symposium combines panel discussions and presentations from academic and peer experts who will address best-practice usage along with the challenges and benefits of simulations and virtual / augmented reality. There will also be opportunities during the daylong event to view interactive demonstrations of new technologies, and to engage informally with practitioners, developers, academics, researchers, and fellow event attendees.

This event is hosted by Concordia University's Homeland Security and Emergency Management academic department and Concordia's Center for Emergency Solutions as part of our commitment to preparing leaders to protect, serve, and succeed in today's complex, ever-evolving homeland security and emergency management environment.

Be part of the discussion – and part of the future. This free event is one you can't afford to miss!
