Air Quality Workshop

About this Event

On Thursday, December 12th there will be a workshop titled: Emerging Sensor Technologies and Data Analytics for Air Quality Monitoring. This event will be held in the GM Conference room of the Lurie Engineering Center and will explore current research and practice in order to identify the gaps and limitations, and to prioritize future activities needed to address the challenge of poor air quality. While poor air quality is linked to over 3 million deaths per year, most of these are in large urban areas. OECD estimates that by 2050, poor air quality may become the largest cause of premature mortality in the world. This workshop will take place in the GM Room of the Lurie Engineering Center between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
