Emerging Leaders Summit: Sparking Energy in Young Professionals
Event Information
About this event
If you are a college student or recent graduate whose classes and internships have been disrupted by COVID19, you've almost certainly thought about the uncertain future in regards to what you may do and where you may go.
With social distancing guidelines and lock-down parameters in place, how can we prepare ourselves to grow from this experience rather than feeling stuck and unproductive? How can we use this as an opportunity to hone our skills and sharpen our minds?
Join us as we share our insights on the uncertain future. This virtual leadership summit is intended to prepare young leaders for the future work environment. Join us for a:
- Panel discussion with Licensed Family & Marriage Therapist and Trauma Professional Jeanie Chang and Professional Actor & Artistic Director Chil Kong
- Performance & Spotlight with Globally Renowned Concert Pianist Alpin Hong
- Fireside chat with UCLA Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Jerry Kang
- Small group discussions to build connections and see how others are handling this crisis.
Discuss how to be engaging in change to promote a growth mindset that helps you adapt. With our IgniteNextGen leaders leading the conversation, this will be a powerful way for all participants to connect and find new allies, friendship, and community.
** Due to a generous donor who has agreed to sponsor the event, all tickets going forward will be of no cost. Please share widely throughout your networks!
This event is hosted as a partnership between the Council of Korean Americans and the Korean American Coalition of Los Angeles.
