So you have experience in marketing, or accounting, or management, or human resources—how can you use that to help others? Have you considered serving on a nonprofit board? Nonprofit organizations need key talents and networks to thrive, and United Way knows, as we support and refer community leaders to almost a hundred boards around Central Indiana. Kim Donahue brings us her breakout session on “How to Serve on a Board” from the Leadership United series, a session she’s been helping facilitate for almost 10 years. Then hit the ground running because it’s all in preparation for Leadership Indianapolis’ Get on Board at the Children’s Museum the following week, where you can meet key contacts of area nonprofits to find the right fit for you.
Tickets are $10 for Emerging Leaders members and Katz, Sapper & Miller employees, and $15 for guests. Lunch is included with ticket purchase.
