Specifically designed for female emerging leaders to successfully navigate critical early-career steps necessary to long-term advancement.

About this event

Research shows that most critical step in long-term career advancement begins at the very first rung of the ladder – or at one’s first promotion into leadership. Yet, the leadership development resources for this level of employee are often minimal and fail to provide adequate resources that help them navigate leadership for the first time. Emerging Leaders Academy (ELA) is specifically designed for new and emerging high-potential leaders; to equip them with the skills, support, and network to thrive in leadership throughout their careers.

The course is organized in monthly themes that were determined based on our research at The Center for Leadership Excellence and the existing body of research regarding new and emerging FEMALE leaders . Educational content, resources, activities and homework are organized in alignment with the monthly theme.


  • Monthly Course Meetings (4 hours) consisting of networking, education, and group coaching
  • Four, one-on-one meetings (60 minutes) with the leadership coach assigned to the course to check in our your progress and address personal career/work issues.
  • A Leadership Development Action Plan that allows you to assess progress and show your return on investment.
  • A powerful network of relationships with other leaders in Indianapolis!
  • Free Lunch at each class meeting :)

Cohort starts on April 7th, 2022 and meets monthly (a hybrid of in-person in Indianapolis, IN and virtual) on the first Thursday of every month through December 2022. Class runs from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
