At this whole community event, emergency management planners from the County of Santa Clara Office of Emergency Services and the Santa Clara County Fire Department will initiate Emergency Management Annex planning.

The purpose of the Emergency Management Annex will be to:

  • Establish a standardized emergency management planning process that incorporates T&E program
  • Develop and implement EOC readiness processes, procedures, and standards (e.g., activation, notification, sustainment)
  • Develop and implement situational analysis and information sharing processes, procedures, and standards

Intented Audience:

  • Local city/town and department/agency emergency managers
  • Emergency responders - supervisory/command role
  • Emergency support personnel (e.g., public works, facility maintenance, social services, utilities, etc.)
  • Public Health Officials/planners
  • Public Safety Officials
  • Public Information Officers (media points of contact)
  • Private Sector Partners
  • Institutions of Higher Learning
  • Non-Governmental Organizations active during disasters
  • Faith-based Organizations
  • City/Town administrators
  • Department heads (deputies) and administrative staff
