Description

The methods successfully employed directing child & family trauma therapy services immediately after the Sandy Hook School Massacre In Newtown, CT will be taught by the Emerald Sketch innovator, Nicole Porter Davis.

This is a crisis course Level I to inform and teach Master level clinicians how to mobilize Creative Arts therapy services post disaster, as well as the beginnings of an Arts trauma therapy treatment process developed first for the children of Newtown, CT. Here you will have the opportunity to learn this method as Davis’ aids the mobilization of services in Brooklyn for survivors and victims of the recent Brownsville massacre. If suitable attendees may gain clinical experience through the mobilization and educational outreach Emerald Sketch is currently offering the Brownsville community In Brooklyn.

All participants must have a Master’s level education as a CreatiVe Arts therapist or related field.
