Embroidered Holiday Card-Making Workshop
By East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse
Overview
Learn to make simple and festive holiday cards using basic embroidery stitches!
Using a few basic embroidery stitches, students will have a full two hours to make some simple but beautiful and festive holiday cards! The stitches covered in this class also work great on both paper and fabrics and will serve students well beyond the holidays.
This class is suitable for absolute beginners and children 10 and up with a paying accompanying adult. Miss our intro to embroidery class earlier this year? This class is a great chance to make it up!
Instructor Cirrus Wood is a self-taught artisan who enjoys coming up with and learning new techniques to make clothing more visually appealing and more durable. He runs the mending and tailoring business Dollars & Yen which came about after years of casually combining elements of both Japanese and American design in his own wardrobe.
