Event description

Description

What’s a CANstruction? A mural made of can goods assembled by interfaith high school teens. Throughout the evening, teens share in mural assembly, team building and interfaith interaction based on shared values to explore “Embracing Diversity.”

What a great way to celebrate diversity of race, culture, faiths and abilities. We will create an image with canned goods that will remain on display at St. Louis Children's Hospital for over a month. With local interfaith teens working together and exploring through interfaith interactions how each of our faiths call us to honor and respect our unique gifts that make up a diverse community.

Join us for this unique leadership opportunity for local teens provided by The Center for Indian Cultural Education- Bal Vihar, St. Louis Children's Hospital and Interfaith Quest.

Seeking equal numbers of students who represent Muslim, Jewish and Christian faiths. Space is limited- register early. No walk-ins. You MUST register. Only $35 per teen.

Teens must commit the full schedule.

All canned goods will be donated to Operation Food Search once mural is disassembled in December.
