San Francisco based artist Roommate (Justin McCauley) has a musical career that can be described as prolific and ever changing. With over a decade of solid DJ'ing and countless original production releases, you can be sure Roommate has secured his title on an international scale. Currently, Roommate is still touring avidly all over the world and spreading his custom art everywhere he goes. He is focusing on releasing two full length Dubstep/Reggae and Trip hop albums in the near future. Roommate's live show never disappoints and always reflects his energy and skill. Get inspired by a true rising artist and check out his other projects: Babylon System (with No Thing), OSC (with Antiserum), and Krttyr (with E Pill).

For Embrace the Bass, Dubsworth is teaming up with badman percussionist and sound designer Tapa to break out a their instruments and present a proper live set of subwise Bass Music. Utilizing a masterfully curated catalog as the owners of Dubs Alive Records, alongside their original productions and dubplates, Dubsworth & Tapa’s live sets fluidly merge the continuity of a DJ mix and the energy of a live show. With Dubsworth locking down all the sub-frequency activities on bass guitar and Tapa deftly weaving live electronic percussion with hand built analog dub sirens & sound effects into the minimal, riddim driven soundscapes, their live sets are truly a special treat that are not to be missed.

Satchi Om Music is the merging of ancients sounds with the newest in electronic programing and production. Experimenting in the realms of Dub, Breaks, Hip Hop and Drum & Bass, he melts the sounds of old and the future into a full body dance experience, transmuting through styles and tempos. Producing, DJing and performing underground electronic music since 1996, Satchi Om represents a sacred side of gatherings and Djing that is evolving into the new dance culture paradigm.

Cruz began studying African music seventeen years ago with master drummer Abdouli Diakite from Senegal. Soon after, Cruz began studying with Mamady Kitea from Guinea, and eventually began performing with Fola master Bolokada Conde from Guinea West Africa. He has performed at festivals such as Reggae on the River, Health and Harmony, EarthDance, & Seirra Nevada World Music Festival. 

As a special treat for Embrace the Bass 4, Rich will be performing live with Mohamed Kouyaté, a master baliphone from the coastal region of Guinea. Mohamed is best known for his mastery of bala and he is also a powerful dunun and djembe master.

►Ryury has a huge arsenal of diverse and hard to find sounds for all occasions. His sets go from here to there and back again. Known for always having the freshest and hottest tunes around he has a very good reputation amongst peoples for always keeping it a level above anyone else. He has shared the stage with a ridiculous amount of artists, played countless events/festivals and knows how to throw down on the decks like a bo$$. You know him, you love him and loves you.


Intellitard alternates between making Cartoon Dinosaurstep and Crunchy Midtempo Glitchwomp. He eats raw children for breakfast and poops out unicorn steaks for lunch. His sets are filled with silly samples and live
mashups...OF YOUR FACE!

SUREFIRE / HOTNHEAVY / BRAP DEM! REC is a San Francisco based DJ and Producer. SAM SUPA has been at the core of the West Coast Bass music scene for years and has been working behind the scenes for even longer. Supa plays 90 to 170 BPM music influenced by DRUM & BASS, PUNK, METAL, SOUL, HOUSE, DUB, mashing into many other styles. Sam runs BRAP DEM! RECORDINGS a diverse bass music label, pushing Dubstep, Future Garage, Footwork, 2 Step and Grime and other forms of bass music and has released 128 to 140 BPM tracks for HOT N HEAVY RECORDINGS.

Green B, Coo-Yah! Ladeez sound system hailing from San Francisco, California. Green B, a California native, became obsessed with reggae while living in Boston in the 90's and scored her first pair of of Technics when she moved back to the Bay Area in 2001. Fast forward ten years and she is now one of the top reggae~dancehall djs in California. Known for her mixcd series: "Hot Gyal Promotion" each disc from volume 1 to 5.1 are a seamless mix of new reggae~dancehall music, keeping you up-to-di time on what's hot outta of Jamaica, the UK, and around the world.


Rescued from a basket made of solid gold reeds set adrift in the Pacific ocean, NORTHSTAR, was raised in the greater Seattle area. Once he began making music his true intergalactic biological nature was revealed; his deep bass sounds could only be inspired by astral intellect. NORTHSTAR's deconstructed geometric melodies are woven over psychedelic minimalist basslines; prepare your cosmonaut suit and get ready for an existential deep bass exploration.
