Event description

Description

We will be using refractory paper to build a dimensional design over which glass will be formed. If you can cut out a paper snowflake, you can do this!

This is the first of a series of classes that will meet in Lowe Mill in the HAL Education Studio (#2009) on the 2nd. Friday of the month. Register for each class separately. The cost is $55 ($50 for HAL members) with supplies provided.

The concept for this series in decorative glass techniques is to open creative avenues of surface design for use with Warm Glass ( glass that will be fired in a kiln). Each session is an individual class open to beginners as well as seasoned stained glass enthusiasts.

Each session will provide hands-on glass time as well as the science behind the firing of glass. The glass art projects created during the classes will be taken to the Earthstar Glass Studio, fired and returned to HAL for the class participants to pick up.
