Event description
An experiential workshop that incorporates mindfulness and emotional expression to explore what it means to embody your emotions.

About this Event

You can talk about your feelings but do you allow yourself to fully feel them?

In this workshop, we will explore how different emotions feel in our bodies and how we can benefit from feeling, through a trauma-informed lens. We will be doing this through somatic and mindfulness exercises, expressive arts, and facilitated conversations.

Embodied Emotions is for humans who want to feel more comfortable with their emotions in their body and may have a curiosity around somatic therapies.

Key Takeaways:

  • Explore personal relationships with feeling emotions
  • Learn about the benefits of emotional expression through a trauma-informed lens
  • Dismantle judgement of emotions
  • Identify physical sensations for different emotions
  • Dip into the experience of expressing emotions

Bring a notebook and pen, maybe a morning snack, and your enthusiastic self.
